Stuffed Dates
Stuffed Dates

These stuffed dates are my favorite go to when I am looking to enjoy something sweet or indulgent. I love making that you can make these within a couple minutes. My husband and I love these so much I can not wait to share how to make these with you, my secret tip and all the health benefits dates can provide.

Ingredients to make 2 servings:

  • 4 Organic Dates with pits

  • 12 Just Date dark chocolate chips (they only have 3 ingredients)

  • 2 teaspoons of organic peanut butter

  • 2 teaspoons or grass fed butter

Lets make these. First remove the pits from the dates, some of the end caps may need to be removed as well, then split them open. Place on a plate and microwave for 45 seconds (secret tip). Then place 1 teaspoon of butter into two and 1 teaspoon of peanut butter into the other two. Add three chocolate chips on top to eat one and savor away.

There is nothing better than being able to satisfy your sweet tooth in a way that provides you a slew of health benefits while you are losing weight and maintaining a healthier lifestyle. I can't wait to share many of them with you!

Dates provide:

  • Magnesium (more than 75% of us are deficient in magnesium) which helps with energy production, muscle and nerve function, blood pressure regulation, and heart rhythm. It also helps us with our sleep.

  • Potassium which helps our muscles to contract, our nerves to function properly and our heart to beat regularly.

  • increases good bacteria which helps make butyrate. Butyrate provides our body with a ton of benefits such as helping improve insulin sensitivity and reduce blood sugar levels.

It may also help regulate appetite and promote weight loss. Butyrate has anti-cancer properties and may help inhibit the growth of certain types of cancer cells. It helps maintain a healthy gut barrier, reducing inflammation and improving gut motility. There are so many other benefits it can provide.

  • Flavonoids which have been shown to lower the risk of diabetes, alzheimers & the formation of different cancers.

There are so many more benefits these can provide you but I thought these were the most important ones to share with you! I hope you enjoy these as much as we do and it helps get a healthier option in your home for you to savor that sweet tooth with.
