Gluten + Dairy Free Peanut Butter & Jelly Viral Cookie Recipe
This recipe has not gone viral yet, but I am pretty confident that once you try this recipe it will-they are that delicious. I am really hoping you can grab all the ingredients so you can savor these ASAP.
As a sweet tooth lover that was struggling to lose weight and found herself weighing well over 200lbs I remember thinking when I began my wellness journey almost 11 years ago that this time had to be different. I was so tired of feeling like I was depriving myself of the food I enjoyed especially as a sweet tooth lover every time I tried to lose weight. I would do really "good" (at least I thought I was eating healthy) and then at night or on the weekends I wanted to eat all the things. The problem was when I was allowing myself to have something sweet I could not stop mostly due to the addictive ingredients in the items I was choosing to eat and because I was under-eating (didn't know at the time) I found myself hungry. So when the sugar entered the body I found it hard to stop eating and never really found msyelf feeling satisfied. I found myself on this up and down cycle for years that I knew I no longer wanted to participate in. But how could I stop this? I honestly had no idea but once I learned I did not have to feel hungry nor give up my favorite foods in order to lose weight, I just needed to learn how to properly fuel my body and make the things I did enjoy eating healthier, along with discovering which habits were not serving me and which ones would- everything changed. I finally lost the weight, learned how to get myself to feel incredible from within and it was all easily sustainable. I love helping my clients learn how to do this as well. Okay enough chatting (just felt called to share my struggles in case you struggle with this as well) it's time to share this recipe with you! All you need is 4 ingredients to make these gluten and dairy free cookies!
Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookie Ingredients:
1 ¼ cup of Almond Flour
½ Spread The Love Organic Peanut Butter
⅓ cup Organic Pure Maple Syrup
½ tablespoon of Spread The Love Raspberry Jam
Let's make them:
Mix everything together minus the jam. Use a cookie scooper and flatten each cookie. Bake for 11 minutes at 350. Let them cool then add the jam to the bottom of one and place another cookie on top to make into a sandwich.
