Melt In Your Mouth Bars


I absolutely love sharing recipes that will satisfy your sweet tooth in a healthy way!

This recipe is gluten free, vegan and gut friendly šŸ™ŒšŸ¼


Ingredients

The Base:

1 Ā½ cups packed fine blanched almond flour

3 tablespoons melted and cooled coconut oil

2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Sea Salt


Middle Layer:

ā…” cup drippy organic natural peanut butter (no added sugars or oils)

1/3 cup pure organic maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon Pink Himalayan sea salt


Top Layer:

4 ounces of 100% cacao unsweetened chocolate

1 tablespoon coconut oil


Letā€™s begin:

1. First turn the oven on to 350, as it heats youā€™ll make your base by mixing the almond flour with coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Press this mixture firmly into an 8Ɨ8 inch square pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes.

3. Once your base is done baking and cooled, you can begin to make your peanut butter layer by mixing peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla and salt in a pot over medium low heat for 2 minutes.

4. Pour your peanut butter mixture on top of the cooled base and then place it in the fridge to solidify for at least 30 minutes.

5. Once thatā€™s cooked itā€™s time to make the top layer and melt your chocolate with coconut oil over medium heat on your stove. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter and tilt the pan in all directions to make sure itā€™s evenly covered. Place it back in the fridge for at least 20 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.

6. Finally itā€™s time to cut into bars and enjoy this indulgent healthy treat
