The Most Delicious High Protein + Gluten Free Fruit Tart Recipe
One important thing I learned as I lost 60lbs and I have maintained that loss for years is that in order to truly feel my best the ingredients I consumed matter. I didn’t just want to lose weight, I wanted to feel really good from within without feeling like I was depriving myself of the foods I enjoyed. So I knew I needed to take the things I enjoyed indulging in and learn how to make them in a healthier way like this Fruit Tart, y’all I blew my own mind with this healthier version of this recipe. I have been making this for years but decided to change a couple of things and I could not believe how good this came out. It tasted like it just came out of a cafe bakery. It’s gluten free, high in protein and so easy to make.
Ingredients:
2 cups of Purely Elizabeth Original Granola
3 Tablespoons of Organic Coconut Oil
2 cups of plain Bellwether Farms A2 Organic Yogurt
1 cup of Lemon Swish protein powder ( you can use the discount code: freshfitkate & order the one I use here: https://just.crrnt.app/freshfitkate )
2 cups of organic berries (I use blueberries, strawberries & raspberries)
Lets make these:
Put the granola in a food processor or blender, until fine. Then add melted coconut oil to the granola, mix well. Add non toxic muffin liners ( https://a.co/d/01nutFH ) to a muffin pan and put 1 tablespoon in each liner of the mixture, then press down until firm. Now we will mix the yogurt and protein powder together until smooth. Then place 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon of the yogurt mixture in each cup. Add these to your freezer for 45 minutes or until firm. Then add the berries and get ready to savor these! You can store them in a glass container in your freezer, but I prefer my fridge so I don’t have to wait for them to sit out and soften especially the frozen berries but they can be stored in the freezer as well.
These are great to keep on hand for a healthy dessert option or to serve at a get together.
I can not wait for you to savor these. Please let me know when you do and what you thought of these. Feel free to tag me on instagram @freshfitkate if you share these, I love seeing these recipes in your home!
Enjoy!
